Whether you come for reasons of illness or accident, the sessions are coded in the form of a number of points. A point has a predefined value and varies from one canton to another. Thoses values are defined federal health insurance laws. The length of a session can vary, but generally lasts between 30 and 45 minutes.

I think it’s important to mention that the first session will always be billed with a supplement for a new prescription, unless you are accumulating prescriptions for the same reasons. If you change physiotherapist during the course of treatment with the same prescription, code 7354 will be added again to the first appointment.
